Our team specializes in the imaging needs of Cultural Heritage and Art Industry professionals. We work directly with artists, galleries, and institutions of all sizes to accurately, and meaningfully capture artwork for digital and print reproduction—both on-location and in our West Chelsea studio.

Services

As a standard, we deliver color-corrected/retouched images as 16 bit TIFF files at size of 7000 pixels alongside preview sized jpegs through a WeTransfer link. We can accommodate projects demanding larger file sizes as well as projects requiring adherence to 4 star FADGI technical standards upon request.

Standard turnaround time for photography is 1-3 days but may vary depending on the scope and post-production needs of individual projects.

In Studio

Centrally located among the Chelsea Galleries, our studio has freight elevator access and can accommodate photography of two and three dimensional artworks—up to 120” in longest dimension.

On Location

shootART is fully equipped and insured for on location work in galleries, museums, storage facilities, corporate offices, artist studios and private residences throughout all five boroughs of New York City, the Greater Tri-State Area and Los Angeles, CA.

Our location fee is waived if you are located within 5 blocks of our 26th street studio.
